Voice FM is available within the Ballarat region on your radio at 99.9 FM. Online, you can stream at www.voicefm.org.au

Voice FM plays a wide variety of music. We have several country music programs, a variety of programs playing music from 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and beyond, Top 40 chart hits, music from around the world, programs that focus on Australian music, heavy metal, jazz, classical music and much more. 

Take a look at our Program Guide to find the shows that suit your taste. If you don’t find it, consider joining us as a presenter and adding to the diverse music played on Ballarat’s community station. We also run a variety of special interest programs encompassing everything from sports to arts, community news and events, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander issues, intercultural programs and many more. There is something for everybody on 99.9 Voice FM.

Voice FM encourages all members of our community to get involved. We offer opportunities for those of diverse skills, backgrounds and abilities. Please contact us if you wish to discuss your specific circumstances and find out how to get involved.

You can email your information and tracks to music@voicefm.net.au and it will be circulated to the relevant team members for airplay. Alternatively you can mail physical copies to the station. If you are an Australian musician, you can also access a wide network of community radio stations via the AMRAP Airit Project (airit.org.au).

You can join up at any time on our Subscribe page. Subscriptions are due by July 1 each year. Pro rata options are available for part years.

Voice FM has opportunities for volunteers in a range of roles. We are always on the look out for on air presenters, panel operators and programming assistants. Off the air we have plenty of opportunities as well, with skills for reception, administration, finance, management, sales, traffic management, governance, policy and procedure writing, grant writing, fundraising and so much more.

Yes we are a not for profit, community broadcaster. We are predominantly run by volunteers and are a registered charity organisation.
