Billy Connolly is well known for his stand-up comedy performances and his parts in over 40 feature films and numereous TV productions. Last year he undertook a 6000 miles train journey across 26 of the United States of America. He describes this journey in a beautifully illustrated book aptly titled Tracks Across America.
As we would expect, Connolly sees the funny side of life wherever he goes. He meets all sorts of people and visits all sorts of places. He judges a scarecrow competition in Arizona, discovers a toilet seat museum in Texas, and, in a missile silo facility, meets a man who once had the power to destroy the world!
The stylish coffee-table book includes colour photos of the amazing variety of sights Connolly sees and people he meets on his remarkable trip.
