Zog And The Flying Doctors

Author: Julia Donaldson
R.R.P: $13.25
Illustrated by: Axel Scheffler
Review: Joan Steinman

Zog, the dragon, Gadabout, the knight and Pearl the Princess are an unlikely team, but together they make up the Flying Doctors. When a mermaid with sunburn, a lion with the flu and a unicorn with an extra horn are all in need the Flying Doctors come to their rescue. But when Pearl visits her Uncle in his palace, he locks her up as he states “a Princess can’t be a doctor”. There is an important message that the King comes to realise, Princesses can do more than just sit around in frilly dresses doing needlework.

Children from 2 years will love the rhyming text and the brightly coloured illustrations on glossy pages.

This hard cover book is a sequel to the popular ZOG by this award winning duo.
