Local Young Achievers Nominated

Some of our locals have been nominated !!

Shani Cain from Ballarat has been nominated for the Saward Dawson Community Service and Social Impact Award, one of ten categories in the Victorian Young Achiever Awards.

Cai Herps from Mitchell Park has been nominated for the Berry Street Create Change Award, one of ten categories in the Victorian Young Achiever Awards.

Olivia Delahunty from Drung has been nominated for The Coffee Club Arts and Fashion Award, one of ten categories in the Victorian Young Achiever Awards.

Rheannon Theologous-Owen from Delacombe has been nominated for both the First National Real Estate Leadership Award and the Academy Graphics Regional Achiever Award, part of the Victorian Young Achiever Awards.

Mitch Burgess from Alfredton has been nominated for the Saward Dawson Community Service and Social Impact Award, one of ten categories in the Victorian Young Achiever Awards.

Sam McColl from Cardigan has been nominated for the Saward Dawson Community Service and Social Impact Award, one of ten categories in the Victorian Young Achiever Awards.

Carly Ellis from has been nominated for The Coffee Club Arts and Fashion Award, one of ten categories in the Victorian Young Achiever Awards.

The Awards aim to encourage, reward and most importantly promote the positive achievements of young Victorians up to and including 29 years of age.

We congratulate them for being nominated and wish them the best of luck with judging on Tuesday 13th March, 2018.

Nominations were sought in the following categories:

• Bartercard Online Achievement Award

• Saward Dawson Community Service and Social Impact Award

• The Victorian Government Group Achievement in the Community Award

• The Coffee Club Arts and Fashion Award

• Berry Street Create Change Award

• Academy Graphics Regional Achiever Award

• Kangan Institute Inspirational TAFE Student Award

• Royal Flying Doctors Service Victoria Regional and Rural Health Award

• First National Real Estate Leadership Award

• WFI Insurance Small Business Achiever Award

Finalists will be presented and Winners announced at an Awards Gala Presentation Dinner at Flemington – The Event Centre on Friday evening, 18th May 2018. All nominees who are able to attend the Awards Dinner will be presented on stage with a framed certificate in recognition of their achievements.

Category winners will each receive $1,000 into an account in their name from Bank of Melbourne; a $1,000 Bartercard Account and a magnificent trophy. One of the ten category winners will be chosen as the Victorian Young Achiever of the Year and will receive a $2,000 flight voucher from Jetstar and a State trophy.
