This delightful picture story book goes through the meerkat family’s day demonstrating the similarities to humans looking after their kids; getting out of bed, grooming, feeding them and teaching them. The simple text, often presented as single words represents the meerkats movements; left, right, up, down, scratch, munch etc. The pages are presented with these words in small frames with accompanying pictures and a larger picture taking up the rest of the page. The text is rhyming which appeals to young children and makes this story easy reading. The illustrations are full of life and fun and bring the sights and colours of the savannah into your house.
This is a wonderful hard cover book which will appeal to children from 2 to 4 years of age.
